Consequences

KJM is an artist from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. While long-term depression and anxiety have deeply affected her life at different stages, returning to school later in life changed her outlook. Art is KJM's mindful place.

My painting is about the journey of addiction. My view on addiction is like a catch-22; mental illness creates victims of this hideous disease. Once it's developed, no one is safe from its grip - and it affects everyone close to their addicted loved one.
