Life
Deborah De Angelis is a firm believer that beauty comes from the ashes. Despite an idyllic childhood exploring her father's sprawling art studio, Deborah's adult life has been punctuated with danger and uncertainty as she navigated life alongside her deeply traumatised ex-husband. Existing in a highly stressed and heightened state, Deborah found herself engulfed with anxiety and panic attacks.
Through the highs and lows, painting has been Deborah's constant companion. It is with colour that Deborah draws her deepest breath. Favouring a vibrant, sunny colour palette, Deborah finds solace and safety in her art – always there for her no matter the winding and unpredictable path life may take.
