Enveloped Outlines

David Jones is a Queensland College of Art graduate with a double major in print media and painting. David has a wide variety of styles within his extensive bodies of work that display the diversity of rendering techniques and paint applications, enabling the work to draw in the viewer for closer inspection.

This piece literally explains the conceptual narrative behind the painting conveyed within the title. The central white outline can either be perceived as a background or the focal point. These outlines appear to be surrounded by the vast assortment of full colour images.
