Dream Stream

Belinda’s art reflects her love of the Australian lifestyle, often featuring native animals, pet dogs, and sporting themes. An avid bushwalker and birdwatcher, Belinda draws inspiration from time spent in nature. 

Over the years, Belinda has explored a wide range of mediums, though she currently favours water-mixable oils and watercolours, depending on the surface. She is a long-standing member of the Brisbane Outsider Artists at Access Arts.

‘Dream Stream’ depicts the magic of being by a stream at sunrise, where two kookaburras, a pale-headed rosella, a collared kingfisher, and mudlarks appear, along with two friendly little dogs. In the water, colourful fish swim alongside a platypus. This painting was created entirely from my imagination, capturing the joy of nature and its creatures.
