Beauty of View

Mark is a creative individual who has faced lifelong challenges with learning, speech, and crowds following a serious motorcycle accident in his teens that left him with PTSD. His healing journey began through yoga and meditation, even as he confronted powerful inner imagery. At 45, a diagnosis of autism and ADHD brought clarity to his struggles and a profound sense of release. Gifted in working with his hands, Mark has discovered peace and self-expression through making and creating, transforming adversity into resilience.

My inspiration for naming this piece comes from the unique emotional resonance I experience at the beach. It’s more than just observing a scene - it’s about absorbing the calmness and love that seem to emanate from the entire environment. This view, in its peaceful grandeur, allows me to see and feel the intricate scenery of life unfolding, wrapped in a blanket of tranquility. The title is an invitation to share in that perspective.
