"I have been practicing yoga for three years with my instructor, Simone. Yoga reduces my anxiety, managing my stress levels so I can remain calm. Simone has taught me breathing exercises, control, meditation and bodily postures.

This brightly-coloured painting shows us practicing the yoga pose, Warrior One. I feel we are two warrior women working together in a Brisbane park. This painting celebrates my progression to inner peace and my mindful connection with Simone."
