"This piece grew from a process of creating daily self-portraits, drawing from the mirror-reflected states of mind. The face is inscribed with portraits of diverse internal experiences.
The contrasting areas of black, white and colour speak to moving away from black and white thinking; from less helpful patterns of thinking. As life moves towards the colour, it doesn't negate the black and white experiences but embraces a less rigid, less confined headspace."
