Karen Foster is a Forgotten Australian. This is Karen's first painting in many years.
Karen loves every medium of art, and enjoys mixing mediums, colours and techniques. Karen is trying to be braver with new ideas and believes art is not just about colours on a page; it's about moods, creative outlet, experimenting and evolving with the outcome.
Karen says the final picture is like a music composition - finished and performed.
"I love the sea. I ride my bike past it every day. I grew up near the boats."
