Describing herself as a prankster trouble-maker from Melbourne, Cheeky Prankster is a self-taught artist residing in Brisbane.
Living with a disability, Cheeky Prankster has faced many challenges in life, but despite this she is the mother to seven beautiful children.
Cheeky Prankster's personality is represented through her colourful artwork, while she aims to create a bright and exciting future for herself and her family. Partaking in painting as a type of therapy has allowed Cheeky Prankster to heal from some elements of pain and adversity she has faced in her life.
"The original idea of this piece was inspired by a paper flower spotted at a Brisbane shopping centre by my three youngest children. They were fascinated with the flower and wanted to steal it and keep it for themselves. I decided to replicate this piece instead, as a symbol for the connection and love I have for my family, and how each day we choose to grow together."
