"This piece is about weighing my heart when I move from this level of existence to the next. It's about me living an honest life and living my truth. The big white balls are orbs of enlightenment. The feather grounds me and helps me sort out what is real and what is not."
Lisa Tucker has made it her life’s work to help others manage their mental health challenges through art. Shattered by her son’s death in 2012, Lisa turned to Chinese brush painting to process her immense grief and trauma. She found the mindful and meditative process of this artform extremely comforting and healing.
On her art teacher’s recommendation, Lisa undertook an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy. Transpersonal art therapy allows the participant to travel within themselves in search of healing and strength. In 2018, Lisa opened her transpersonal art therapy business, art2cin2u. She finds immense value in supporting people to express themselves creatively and find freedom through art.
