Artworks are first available for purchase by sponsors and dignitaries before being available in person at the Exhibition in Brisbane. Unsold artworks can also be purchased online following the event.
"This artwork depicts the intense emotions felt by someone grappling with anxiety or panic attacks. The painting portrays the struggle of being on the edge, where even the simple act of breathing feels like gasping for air. It represents the fear of losing control as one's actions, emotions and words become trapped. The artwork captures the fight against the raw reality of being on the verge of collapse."
Sajani Suwanka is an artist from a land far away from Australia, trying to explore the meaning of life through paint and brush strokes. She's no expert in Da Vinci's lively portraits or in Picasso's abstracts; just a humble girl who has spent her entire life painting, trying to put emotions to canvas. She believes that art can speak more than a thousand words sometimes - especially the emotions that are indescribable.
