Artworks are first available for purchase by sponsors and dignitaries before being available in person at the Exhibition in Brisbane. Unsold artworks can also be purchased online following the event.
"There will be times when we find ourselves in our own detentions of despair, anxiety, loneliness and any other tornado life throws at us.
We will feel the heaviness of the stones that block our way; the wrapping of physical and emotional trials that envelope us.
But one day, we dream of a future where we can break free..."
Caitlyn Chambers' passion for art has been evident from a young age. Growing up in various cities around eastern Australia, Caitlyn learnt how to create in acrylics and graphite from different teachers and her mother.
Using art as a tool for healing, Caitlyn has always been drawn back to art after various struggles with anorexia, autism, borderline personality disorder and depression.
She hopes to show that regardless of what happens through the ebbs and flows of life, art can remain the one constant if you let it.
