Mark Gibson has lived with a mental illness all his life; the daily struggle has been a constant battle. Mark has always enjoyed art because he can close off to the outside world and just draw, paint, sketch and be in the moment, creating.
Hearing about the exhibition was a dream come true for Mark. His fascination of the rainbow spectrum, plus a love of lady beetles, was another inspiration to paint.
"My inspiration for this art work is made up from a broad spectrum of colour, light and shade, fascinating the mind from a lady beetle's point of view in a world of colour."
